              Description:



              It is a colorless and transparent flammable liquid with a smell similar to ethanol. Melting point - 88.5 ℃, freezing point - 89.5 ℃, boiling point 82.45 ℃, vapor pressure (20 ℃) 4.4kpa, relative density 0.7855 (20 / 4 ℃), refractive index 1.3772, viscosity (20 ℃) 2.4Mpa · s, flash point 22 ℃. The upper limit of spontaneous combustion in air is 7.99%, and the lower limit is 2.02%. It is miscible with water, ethanol, ether and chloroform.



              Purpose:



              It is widely used as an organic raw material and solvent. As chemical raw materials, it can produce acetone, hydrogen peroxide, methyl isobutyl ketone, diisobutyl ketone, isopropylamine, isopropyl ether, isopropyl alcohol ether, isopropyl chloride, as well as isopropyl esters of fatty acids and chlorinated fatty acids. In fine chemicals, it can be used to produce isopropyl nitrate, isopropyl xanthate, triisopropyl phosphite, aluminum triisopropoxide, medicines and pesticides. As a solvent, it can be used to produce coatings, inks, extractants, aerosols, etc. It can also be used as antifreeze, detergent, additive for blending gasoline, dispersant for pigment production, fixing agent for printing and dyeing industry, antifogging agent for glass and transparent plastics, etc.
